Shnitsel which is also called шницел is a Bulgarian dish similar to Schnitzel. It is made from ground veal, formed as a thin patty, seasoned with salt and black pepper, then breaded and fried. The dish usually is served with a choice of mashed or roasted potatoes, french fries, or simply a tomato salad.
