What do people eat in their country to celebrate their birthdays?

1. Miyeokguk

Miyeok-guk, Miyeok Gook, 미역국 (Korean)

Korean Seaweed Soup made from dried sea kelp. Koreans eat miyeokguk on birthdays as well as for regular meals and traditionally, also served to new moms to help them recover from childbirth.

2. Yi Mein

"longevity Noodles", Sau Mein (Chinese)

When Yi mein is consumed on birthdays, it is generally referred to as Longevity noodles or Sau mein (壽麵/寿面). The Chinese character for "long" (長壽麵/长寿面) is also added as a prefix to represent "long life". Usually it is consumed with longevity buns during birthday celebrations.
