Sloosh Doggies (American)

Sloosh is a mixture of cornmeal, lard or bacon, water and egg formed around a rifle ramrod and cooked over a campfire. Sloosh was a form of cornbread that was popular during the American Civil War, especially among Confederate soldiers.
