Holubtsi are cabbage rolls, stuffed with rice, meat, mushrooms and sometimes even raisins. The title means “little pigeons”, a nickname for lovers in Ukraine. It is old-fashioned traditional dish which people used to cook many hundreds years ago. It’s tasty and simple, available in all Ukrainian budget restaurants.
